"After a long hiatus, I am taking classes again. I am registered at OU in the Women's Studies program. All of my professors have used Blackboard extensively, and the E 4 ME program was instrumental in helping with it. I haven't signed up for any online classes as yet, classrooms and the interactions w/students are so interesting! "I am a high school teacher who believes that online learning may be the
answer to my keeping up with my continued education and with trends in
the business world. I took an online class from an accredited
university. I was successful in the course, but felt like something was
missing. It was like I did not fully understand what the instructor
expected. I signed myself up for the E4Me online class so that I could
find out how to be successful in an online class, if other classes would
be different from the one I experienced and to find out what online
learning options are out there for me. Within a few days of learning
about the objectives of the class, I decided that my College Tech Prep
students might gain from the experience as well. From the moment I
introduced the idea to the students, they took off with the course. We
found the sight easy to navigate. The content was helpful and
appropriate. The quizzes related to the material. What we liked most
about the course was the constant involvement with the instructor and
with each other. The instructor encouraged us to post messages and to
respond to messages that other students posted. She taught us Internet
etiquette. We learned how and when to use each different type of
communication tool that was available. This course was an excellent
experience for me. It has helped me to better utilize sources on the web
for research. I am looking forward to taking more Internet courses now
